Mikayla Dianne Cozad, 33, of Lawton, OK, made her journey on April 14, 2024. She was born on July 2, 1990, to Tonya Onco and Robert Sweezy Sr. in Clinton, OK. She was the first grandchild and was raised by her grandparents Daniel and Lee Cozad at Hog Creek. Mikayla was a proud member of the Kiow, Cheyenne, and Arapaho tribes. She attended school at Anadarko Public Schools. Mikayla spent a number of years working in the casino industry and the Comanche nation smoke shop. She recently ventured into the medical field, as a surgical scrub tech and even started school to become a CNA. She had two beautiful girls, Ariyah Leigh and Jaeda Nicole. Mikayla had many roles but the one she loved most was being a mother. She met the love of her life in 2021, Cheyenne Pocowatchit and they were engaged to be married. She enjoyed spending time with her little family cooking, going on spontaneous outings and attending church at Hunting Horse Methodist Church. Mikayla could light up a room with her presence alone. Her humor was unmatched and if you knew her you knew she was going to terrorize. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
