Lenora Cozad, 65, affectionately known as Wa-Wa or Wo-Wa of Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away on October 31, 2022. Lenora was born on November 15, 1956, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Lenny Nez and Vera Cozad Buffalomeat. She attended high school at El Reno graduating in 1975. She then attended Okmulgee Technology obtaining an Associates degree and later attended Oklahoma City University. Lenora has one daughter, Rikki. She was a proud Kiowa tribe member and was also of the Navajo Nation. She was an avid hand game player. Lenora was a member of the No Shame Hand Game Team. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Vera Cozad Buffalomeat, Sister Marla Cooper Redbone, Brothers Marvin Nez and Leonard Nez, Grandmother Carrie Ahhaitty Stumblingbear, Grandfathers Elvin Tinetiah and Ray Cozad, Nephews Ricky Pocowatchit, Ivan Evans, Nieces Adawnya Geionety Yellowhair, Chandra Sharee Berryhill, and Cousin David Cozad.
