Leland Roy White

Leland Roy (Lee) White passed away on January 12, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Enlow White, son Mark White, daughter LeAnn White Hait, grandkids Lindsey White, Madison White, Sarah Hait, Eric Hait, and many cousins.
Lee was born on April 30, 1941 in Hobart, OK to J.C. (Tip) White and Mabel Krehbiel White. He grew up in Cooperton, OK and was a 1959 graduate of Cooperton High School.
In 1963, he married Bonnie Enlow at the Holy City in the Wichita Mountains and earned a BS in Science from Northeastern State College in Tahlequah, OK. They started their new life together in St. James, MO, where Lee taught high school science.
In 1969, Lee received his Master's Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Mississippi and started a career in semiconductor manufacturing at Texas Instruments, where he had the opportunity to work in Germany in 1976.During his 43-year career, he built and managed semiconductor manufacturing facilities around the world for Texas Instruments, NCR, National Semiconductor, and other companies. Throughout his career, he was well respected and often recruited for new positions because of his work ethic, dedication, and commitment to delivering results.
Lee was also known for being a Ford Man. His collection included a Black '55 T-Bird which he restored to award winning condition and a Shelby Cobra that he built himself from the chassis up. He enjoyed racing his Cobra and was very proud to have his kids and grandkids race too. He infected the whole family with a love of racing by helping start a family racing team.
Downhill skiing was another passion of Lee's. He started skiing in Germany in the 1970's and loved skiing at Copper Mountain with friends and family, where he also served as a Ski Ambassador guiding visitors around the slopes.
Lee inspired everyone he met to have integrity and devotion to the things that mattered, and the things they loved.
He lived his life to the fullest and always said he had a charmed life with no regrets.
