George Wesley Beatty

June 28, 1941 — December 4, 2022

George Wesley Beatty, 81, formerly of Hobart, Oklahoma until moving to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 2020, passed away on December 4th, 2022 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. He was born on June 28, 1941 to Stanley LeRoy and Juanita (Hughen) Beatty in Hobart, Oklahoma. George grew up and attended school in Hobart, graduating from Hobart High School in 1959. He met and married Judy Trentham in 1972 to this union was born one son, Matthew. George spent most of his working life farming, he also worked at the Cotton Gin in Hobart. He drove for Swift Trucking company and retired in 2010. When he wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, playing cards, bowling, and having BBQ's with his friends. George enjoyed camping in Colorado, mountain trail riding, but most of all he enjoyed driving through the countryside of SW Oklahoma. He loved lending a helping hand to others in the farming community. George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Numerous Great, great nieces and nephews


Preceded in death by his Parents: Stanley and Juanita Beatty, Grandparents and Aunt: Jeanette Hughen
